Dust Risk + Management

We recommend construction contractors seek a dust risk assessment to establish requirements for any site...

A dust risk assessment should be carried out prior to the construction phase. This can be undertaken either at the planning application stage, or dealt with as a condition.

The dust risk assessment will determine the need for compliance monitoring. If required, it is recommended that a monitoring plan is carried out as a part of an air quality and dust management plan (AQDMP). This can be used to inform the construction environmental management plan (CEMP).
