Indoor air quality solutions...
Ensure excellent indoor air quality from the outset.
Indoor air quality should be prioritised during the initial stages of the design process to ensure excellent air quality within the new development. This will also allow you to consider sufficient space for ventilation systems, meeting airtightness requirements for energy efficiency, managing noise generated by mechanical ventilation, and strategically positioning air intakes.

We recommend undertaking an air quality feasibility assessment during the design phase, to provide an indication of the air quality at the proposed development site. This will ascertain whether this is satisfactory to introduce residential dwellings to the area, or if the development requires certain design adjustments or mitigation measures.
There are many reasons why an indoor air quality assessment may be required. General indoor air quality assessments at home or in office spaces can be carried out to establish which pollutants are present and how they might affect health and well-being.
Industrial or construction type work spaces often require occupational air quality surveys to determine exposure compliance with COSHH Regulations/EH40 in line with HSE requirements.
For new builds, indoor air quality surveys can be used to assess post construction building air quality for compliance with building certification schemes such as BREEAM, WELL and LEED.
